Pop Up Concert in Auburn Hills | It’s that time of the year again. The Auburn Hills Pop Up Concert is about to take place on August 24 and Guy Louis and Chautauqua Express are performing. Live music at downtown is happening and everyone’s flocking to get their tickets to it. It will be happening at the Pop Up Public Square from 7 pm to 8 30 pm on select Fridays. Visitors are advised to bring lawn chairs and or blankets. Some picnic tables are available for seating but it’s limited. The AH Teen Council will be providing refreshments. Bob Carl, Charles Davis, Tee Turner, Rich Eddy’s Rockin’ Oldies, Athens Creek and the Kroon Trio were some of the past performers.
Bald Mountain State Recreation Area in Auburn Hills, MI
Bald Mountain State Recreation Area spans more than 4,600 acres. It pretty much means that one will never run out of activities to do. For those who are just looking to relax, they have a lot of picnic areas. For those who are adventurous, they have a shooting range and large hunting areas. They also have fishing lakes, trout streams, a sandy swimming beach and hiking and biking trails. The place is known for its skiing trails which is 8 miles long. They also boast of the steepest hills and rugged terrain. There’s a beach store that’s available and one can rent a paddleboard.
